Next on the brewer’s list is the return of the gold medal winning Fauntleroy Imperial Stout. The ’12 vintage won gold at the Washington Beer Awards this past spring, and I’m very much looking forward to this annual release this December. This year’s vintage will make it’s debut at the Washington Winter Beer Festival that will be held on December 6th and 7th. The beer will be on tap at the pubs sometime in mid December. If Imperial Stouts are your thing, keep your ears peeled for the announcement for our annual Ode to Darkness event in January. I’ve been saving a keg of each vintage for 4 years now, and this event is designed to give you customers a chance to try all of them side by side with some tasty treats from the kitchen to pair. Details coming soon!

Now that October festivals have past and Halloween is over, it’s time to look ahead to winter beers and the holidays. There’s nothing better than a hearty winter ale to usher in the new season. In celebration of that, we give to you our annual “Noäle Holiday Ale.” It’s brewing now with a release date of November 25th at all three locations: West Seattle, Burien and Lake City Way.
This unfiltered organic holiday ale is brewed with Golding and Chinook hop varieties, along with Organic Pale, Organic Wheat, Munich, Organic Chocolate, Organic Roast & Caramel blend Malt.
Originally designed in the Dunkelweizen (dunkel = dark; weizen = wheat), this particular beer has evolved into a stronger wheat beer commonly referred to as Weizenbock, which brings us to our Organic Dunkel Weizenbock style Noäle Holiday Ale!
DETAILS & CHARACTERISTICS
OG = 18ºP
*Deep, rich brown color with a cloudy appearance and a smooth, slightly roasted flavor from dark malts and hop spicyness.
