August 2013 Food Specials : Lake City

Appetizer: Pork Shanks $10.50

Three pork shanks tossed in your choice of either housemade BBQ sauce, sweet and spicy sauce or habanero hot sauce. Served with small side of cilantro-lime coleslaw and celery sticks. Pairs nicely with Organic Pilot Light

Salad: Green Goddess / Chicken $12.95, Shrimp $13.95, or Egg $11.50

Crisp fresh-cut romaine topped with tomatoes, olives, artichokes, avocado, cucumbers and house-made buttermilk cheese. Drizzled with house-made Green Goddess dressing and served with your choice of grilled chicken, shrimp or a sunny side up egg. Served with pita. Pairs nicely with Klondike Gold

Burger: Pimento-Peno Bacon Cheeseburger $12.50

Our all-natural 6 ounce Angus burger served on our spent grain bun and topped with a sun-dried tomato apricot onion jam, arugula, bacon, house-made pimento cheese spread, jalapeno, and avocado. Served with house-seasoned fries. Pairs well with Organic Demolition Ale

Entrée: Southwestern Steak Tacos $13.95

Green and red peppers and onions with sliced steak that has been marinated in a chimichurri sauce. Served in corn tortilla with black beans, Spanish-style rice and corn salsa on the side. Pairs well with Organic B-town Brown

Desserts : Poached Pear $4.95

Half of a Bosc pear poached in vanilla simple syrup. Served with Lemon  Custard ice cream from Husky Deli and drizzled with Framboise sauce. Pairs nicely with Frambaweizen

Kids’ Bite : Chicken Quesadilla $3.95

Chicken quesadilla served with Spanish style rice, black beans, and corn salsa. Pairs nicely with Crater Lake Root Beer

Special Side : Corn Salsa

Corn kernels, red onion, tomatoes, bell and serrano peppers tossed in red wine vinegar and lime juice with chili flakes.

Happy Hour Hot Dog : $3.95

An all-beef Nathan’s frank wrapped in bacon and topped with pimento cheese spread, jalapenos, sun-dried tomato apricot onion jam and avocado. (Available during Happy Hour!) Pairs nicely with Organic No Doubt Stout

Monthly Milkshake : Peach Cobbler $5.95

Made with peaches, peach preserves, coconut milk, old fashion oats, maple syrup, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla ice cream.

Appetizer: Corned Beef Cabbage Rolls with Soy-Ginger Glaze $7.95

House cooked corned beef diced finely with red potato and rolled in cabbage leafs with spicy mustard. Pairs nicely with Organic Hop von Boorian

Salad : Irish Flag Salad $10.50

Tender baby spinach tossed in a citrus vinaigrette and topped with mandarin orange sections, sliced fresh Bartlett pear, pistachios and feta cheese. Served with warm pita bread. Pairs nicely with Organic Alembic Pale Ale

Sandwich : St. Patty’s Melt $11.50

This all natural grass-fed burger is served on our marble rye bread slathered with our pub sauce, caramelized onions and Swiss cheese. Served with horseradish aioli and seasoned fries. Pairs nicely with LCW IPA

House cooked corned beef drizzled with soy-ginger glaze. Served with baby red potatoes, carrots and cabbage. Pairs nicely with No Doubt Stout

Pan seared Panko almonds crusted mozzarella medallions on a bed of spinach tossed in house herb  vinaigrette. Topped with kalamatas, roasted red peppers, house-made buttermilk cheese, and  prosciutto. Served with side pita. Pairs nicely with Alembic Pale Ale.

Sandwich
: BLACKEN SALMON TACOS $11.95

Blackened wild coho salmon wrapped in flour tortillas with apple slaw. Served with side of
strawberry, mango and pineapple salsa, chipotle aioli, a lime wedge and sweet potato fries. Pairs nicely with Riot Ale.

Entrée
: STRAWBERRY RHUBARB BBQ BRAISED BRISKET $12.95

Braised natural brisket drizzled with strawberry rhubarb BBQ and served over bed of arugula with potato pancakes and cilantro lime slaw. Pairs nicely with Lake City Way IPA.

Dessert
: STRAWBERRY RHUBARB CRUMBLE WITH VANILLA BEAN CUSTARD $5.95

Rhubarb strawberry compote covered with a cinnamon crumble and baked golden brown.  Accompanied by vanilla bean custard. Pairs nicely with No Doubt Stout.

Kids’ Bite
: BBQ CHICKEN SLIDERS $3.95
Chicken tender tossed in house BBQ sauce with melted cheddar jack cheese nestled between two mini burger buns. Served with pickles and side of fries. Pairs nicely with Crater Lake Root Beer.
